Malt builds in the flavor—dates, chocolate, toast, caramel, tobacco, fig, currant, brown sugar, along with a spicy alcoholic warmth. Additional flavors emerge with each sip. Touch of sweetness lingers into the finish, with a light toffee topper. Smooth, fairly creamy. Excellent doppelbock.
