“Pine-like hop notes and gentle hints of peppermint blend nicely with roasted malt in the subtle nose. Coffee emerges in the flavor to complement the roast and chocolate malt sweetness; its bitterness lingers into the finish leaving a pleasant coating of espresso-like flavor.”

“Natural hazelnut coffee with brown roasted malt notes push up against low grainy cereal aromas. The bitter roast amplifies the bitterness created by the earthy and pine-like hops, with hints of coffee in the background. The finish is drying, further accentuating bitterness.”

Aroma: “A mild nose of lemon, peach, orange, white peppercorn, pineapple, and light pear. More of the tropical notes shine on the retronasal and then yield to some slight vegetal.” Flavor: “Big chewy blend of lemon, grapefruit, orange blossom, and tropical stone fruit with a healthy dose of spicy hops character to pull everything together. Bitterness balances the malt, but could use a little more edge.” Overall: “Pretty solid beer. Easy- drinking and possibly dangerous given the ABV level.”
