What the brewers say

“DIPA with Centennial and Simcoe Cryo.”

What our panel thought

“Subdued lemon-herbal aroma; bready cracker malt and light mango-tropical hops. Citrus-herbal flavor; smooth, distinct bitterness, moderately low sweetness. Body seems a little thin, light. My impression is more pale ale than IPA. Balance is a bit odd.”

What our editors thought

“Clean, modern, bright, and punchy, with a distinct NZ hop note I the nose and soft, sweet undertones. The sip blends light fruit with punchier but gentle onion and garlic. Contemporary, structured like a Donald Judd sculpture.”
