Ebb and Flow Fermentations Leaf House
What the brewers say
“Oak-aged sour saison.”
What our panel thought
“Aroma is candied lemon peel layered over dried grasses and strawflower. Pleasant underlying malt sweetness. Refreshing start to the sip—big lime zest and grains of paradise, an invigorating ginger-like spiciness. Malt sweetness counters the acidity. Finish is a slightly burpy and lightly astringent.”
What our editors thought
“Savory lemon glaze, hay, and earthier tones shape the nose, while the flavor channels oaky chardonnay with a lime zest curl. Voluminous and ranging.”
