Firestone Walker Brewing Co Pivo

What the brewers say

Floral aromatics, spicy herbal nuances, and lemongrass notes from German Saphir hops.

What our panel thought

Muted classic Noble hops on the nose balance a hefty dollop of Tupelo-like honey from the malt. Pretty clean, Northern German hop bitterness, touch of sulfur, elevated Noble hop flavors with good floral and light raspberry flavor, honey graham cracker malt, and a clean, crisp finish.

What our editors thought

Mildly earthy and floral nose is subdued but confident, while the sip aligns a very clean and trim pilsner with a soft hopping hand for a friendly and approachable beer that whispers rather than screams.
