What the brewers say

“This experimental IPA is made with HBC 586 and El Dorado hops.”

What our panel thought

“Understated aroma, but the hop profile saves the day. Candied fruits and bright citrus work well with the sweetness, but it is a touch cloying. Bitterness is low and approachable. Hop character in the flavor falls slightly short of the aroma. By no means does this push the boundaries, but it is simplistically drinkable.”

What our editors thought

“Mango-papaya heft in the nose with a light fresh note. Mid-weight malt note amplifies the tropical notes, structured by a rind bitterness and light herbal zip.”
