Pinkus Hefe Weizen

What the brewers say

“Very light in body and color. Crisp, dry, spritzy, and refreshing unfiltered beer.”

What our panel thought

Floral hops character that leans toward being a bit soapy. Minimal spice/ester profile, slight note of non-distinct light fruit. Chewy body with a lingering sweetness that comes across a bit heavy, though there’s a nice effervescence on the finish that brightens it.”

What our editors thought

“The first whiff is more bitter than expected, but that doesn’t carry through to the sip as an orange-lime sweetness pulls through with a hint of citric tartness.”
