What the brewers say

“Sour blonde ale with Ohio-grown black raspberries.”

What our panel thought

“Aroma is a mix of barnyard funk and raspberry notes with an almost leathery chewiness. The berry tartness in the sip complements the acidity and sourness. Some horse blanket–forward funk. Berry sweetness emerges more in the finish, with a tart note that lingers.”

What our editors thought

“Berry in the nose with strong notes of tannic berry skin, a bit of leather, some overripe berry decaying on the vine. Sweet raspberry in the sip balances the medium acidity, then lingers as lime into the finish.”
