Wiley Roots Brewing Company Blood Orange Gose

Aroma: “Heavy blood orange up front with light pineapple aroma and some slight mint and subtle floral notes. Nice fruit character, almost like fresh orange juice, and a little salt character.”

Flavor: “The orange is present but not overly sweet, with hints of raspberry, pear, pineapple, and apple notes that are supported by a tartness that helps to enhance the other flavors. The salty character is nice, the tartness is light, and the carbonation is good with a refreshing finish. Good complexity of complementary flavors.”

Overall: “Very fruit-forward with blood orange and pineapple flavors, and more carbonation could create a even richer profile. Juicy, fruity, and sweet, with the flavors of various fruits. The first sip beckons a second sip and more. Great for a summer day.”
