Bootstrap Brewing SPARKALICIOUS Sunrise HS

What the brewers say

Hard seltzer made with real cherry and orange.

What our panel thought

In the nose, orange rind and sweet cherry over a carbonic soda note. Flavor has a cherry-juice note that leads to a crisp mandarin-orange flavor. Light, slightly sweet. Refreshing orange in the finish, with a lingering vanilla-like sweetness.

What our editors thought

Mellow, floral-fruity nose, perceived more as peach candy than cherry and orange—distinct fuzzy-navel vibes. Pleasant, juicy burst of flavor, melding light sweetness with light acidity to carry the fruit. Dryish, tangy. Fun and quenching.

Bootstrap Brewing SPARKALICIOUS Greyhound HS

Murky. Like a less carbonated, less sweet, deeper, more complex Squirt soda—the grapefruit freshness pops. Doesn’t present itself as aggressively bitter or acidic. Great grapefruit-juice character in the flavor. There’s enough residual sweetness to balance the acidity and carbonation, plus a light pithy bitterness. Very well executed.

Bootstrap Brewing Sparkalicious Sunrise

“Vibrant cherry-orange Creamsicle aromas. Fresh fruit flows throughout the mouth, doesn’t feel artificial. The jammy impression lasts into the finish. Not overly sweet but gives the impression of sweetness. The cherry and orange notes sing in harmony.”

Odd13 QDH Codename: Superfan

Huge pineapple, orange, lemon, lemongrass; low vanilla note, hint of bread crust. Low sweetness, moderate bitterness, slight acidity in the finish. Hop flavors dominate: orange, grapefruit peel, mango, peach. Lingering bitterness doesn’t detract from killer aroma. Good drinkability, solid, summery.
