Aroma: “Very funky and barnyard with subtle cherry. High tart notes up front and no sweetness. Slight vanilla note comes out as it warms up. Lactic tart- ness is very present in the front of the nose. Earthy woody character provides complexity.”
Flavor: “Very, very dry. High tartness, with notes of cherry and slight lime citrus. As it warms the tartness subsides into smooth funky notes. Lactic tartness is balanced by some nice sweet cherries and barnyard-like musky earthiness. The finish is bright and cleaned up well.”
Overall: “Good balance of the body with funky, barnyard notes. Dry with just the right amount of sweetness. The tart and sweet characters worked together to make this beer refreshing. The well-integrated blend of different flavors made this beer continually interesting and enjoyable to drink.”
