Starr Hill Double Bass Mocha

Aroma: “Very strong coffee with none of the harshness or vegetal character sometimes associated with it. Very nice. Chocolate sweetness and pepper spice come out as it warms.”

Flavor: “All dark roast, all day with this one. The base beer supports a very dark roast, earthy coffee while the chocolate adds richness and silkiness. The peppercorn shines through on the flavor as it did on the aroma.”

Overall: “Not for someone looking for light, fruity notes. This is roast, followed by lovely roast. Tasty beer.”
