Aroma: “Some orange and citrus character. Hint of pine in the background. Nice complex fruity notes as the nose warms up that add complexity to the orange and citrus. Sweet and fruity, with a bit of caramel sweetness.”

Flavor: “There is a smoothness to this beer. Lovely orange and pine needles along with a good dose of caramel malt. Great depth of flavor without excessive complexity. Straightforward but delightful. Some alcoholic warmth in the moderately bitter finish. Initial sweet citrus fades quickly into a malt-focused finish. Flavor is considerably more potent than the aroma.”

Overall: “Very enjoyable. The smoothness in the body played well with the orange juicy character in this beer. Fun fruit-to pine-flow. It starts out fairly fruity with hints of pine/forest, then switches somewhere in the middle to pine forest. A good go-to IIPA for anyone who enjoys the style.”
