What the brewers say

“Brewed with German pilsner malt and Hallertauer Tradition, Tettnanger, Hallertauer Hersbrucker, and Saphir hops.”

What our panel thought

“Aroma of light pils malt has an overlay of spicy white-pepper hops; a whiff of diacetyl disappears quickly. Mostly clean and crisp flavor, finishing just dry. Very quaffable, and overall solid, but a slight vegetal quality; some overripe fruit lurks in the retronasal.”

What our editors thought

“Herbal nose with a bitter herb structure, and very light anise notes. Full, yet cut, in the sip—muscular yet approachable.”
