Guggman Haus Brewing Co. Sunny Days Kölsch

What the brewers say

“Traditional German Kölsch with Noble and light citrus characteristics.”

What our panel thought

“Ripe fruit aroma with floral accents. A very light malt backbone lets lemon and pear ester notes shine through with just a hint of earthy hops. Those same earthy hops are quite prevalent in the flavor and add a robustness to the pome-fruit quality. Refreshing dryness.”

What our editors thought

“Lemon and a bit of pear with a minty herbal-tea hop note in the aroma and a general Kölsch fermentation freshness. A bit more grounded in the sip with a woody structure that leverages just a bit of malt tannin, softened by light citrus.”
