Dank, piney, and lightly citrus hops aromas give the impression that this will deliver a hops punch; it doesn’t disappoint. Subtle malt sweetness tempers the assertive hops-derived bitterness. The quite-present aggres-sive hops notes of citrus, green pepper, green onion, and some subtle tropical notes are not altogether harsh. The bitterness lingers in the finish more so than most, and the mild alcoholic warmth seems to accentuate them.
