Alaskan Brewing Heritage Coffee Brown
Aroma: “Bright coffee notes with raspberry, strawberry, chocolate, and pistachio highlights and more subtle toasted qualities.”
Flavor: “Caramel and toffee, like a caramel latte. A nice toasted malt base supports light berry esters brought by the coffee. The coffee seamlessly weaves through the beer, accenting the nice toasted caramel notes, the fruity esters, the light chocolate sweetness. A moderate body helps highlight all the underlying flavors.”
Overall: “Lots of coffee. Great pairing of the coffee to the beer. An amazing beer that is only improved by the excellent addition of the coffee. A well-balanced, easy-drinking brown for coffee drinkers.”
