Aroma: “Nice tart and sweet cherry character. Some earthy spicy notes that add complexity. Moderate cherry notes. Slight tart note as it warms up. Strong sour cherry aroma.”

Flavor: “The balance of the sweetness to the tartness in this beer is really nice. It is not too bold but the nice sharp lactic notes bring boldness to this beer. The carbonation is really nice and helps lift the beer as well. The sweet cherries help to finish the beer and keep it juicy and sweet. Very nice sour cherry character. Not too much barnyard, but still sour complexity.”

Overall: “Very enjoyable and a nice balance of the tartness to the sweetness. The showcase of both the cherry and the lactic tartness was very nice. As it warms and the carbonation starts to dissipate, more of the cherry note comes out. Light goat and horse blanket.”
