Green Flash Brewing Company Palate Wrecker

Aroma: “Juicy bright ripe citrus up front with grapefruit, tangerine, and pine, resin, earthy notes. Malt sweetness shines through in the background. Aroma was really neat—one of the favorite aromas of the tasting.”

Flavor: “Complex hops character. Ripe juicy orange and grapefruit with some lemon zest. Nice supportive caramel malt sweetness—rye, caramel, and crystal malt. Had the very aggressive bitter and hoppy approach but hid the alcohol well. The neck-ruffling hops character was pretty extreme. Abrasive.”

Overall: “Very tasty hops-showcasing beer with alcohol and malt to support. Malt sweetness is supportive to the aggressive bitterness and hop profile.”
