Omission Beer Pale Ale

Aroma: “Nice biscuit sweetness with a pleasant hops aroma of citrus and pine. A touch of DMS up front—creamed corn. Hops character is low for the style. Substantial tree-fruit esters.”

Flavor: “The sweetness of this beer hits first with some biscuit notes, then the hops march in and provide complexity. Orange and grapefruit are present with hops that evoke mint, flowers, and citrus. Light malt bread flavor and a low caramel in the finish as it warms; not as assertive on hops character as desired for the style, but still very pleasant.”

Overall: “This beer provides a good balance of hops and malt with a tasty malt background. It’s a decent pale ale with some nice malt character but a bit subdued on the hops profile. Could use a bit more hops in the aroma and flavor. Full malt character, but a somewhat boring hops presence. No noticeable detraction from the gluten reduction.”
