Upslope Tropical Fruit Sour
Aroma: “Massive tropical fruit character: intense passion fruit backed by citrus, with hints of Makrut lime, orange, guava, and passion fruit. It’s like Hawaii in a glass.”
Flavor: “The fruit comes together really well. The sourness is a great mix of fruit tartness with underlying fermentation character; the passion fruit adds brightness; and the guava adds some body and a hint of floral character. The finish is relatively light. Very pleasant tart character without rough edges. Beer qualities are an afterthought, just enough to keep it from being thin.”
Overall: “A more modern take on this style that showcases the fruit expertly and singularly.”
