Beerfest—The Good One! was started in 1991 and has grown and evolved with the craft-brewing industry over the years. Its goal is to provide attendees with the opportunity to taste a variety of brands and styles of beer while raising money for Face to Face—Ending HIV in Sonoma County, a 501(c)3 non profit organization.

On Saturday, June 6, Beerfest 2015 will bring 60+ craft breweries to a great tasting event, held outdoors on the lawn at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa. The brewers will serve some of the most creative and diverse beers from around Sonoma County and beyond. Participating breweries include big names such as Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas, Firestone Walker, Russian River, 21st Amendment, Deschutes, and Ninkasi. But attendees can get to know beers from many other breweries—among them Black Diamond, Blue Frog, Mavericks, Ace Ciders, Drake’s, 101 North, Stumptown, St Florian’s, and Fogbelt.

John Bolton, CEO and cofounder of Craft Beer & Brewing says, “We’re thrilled to be the craft-beer media sponsor for such a stellar event that is giving back to the community through Face to Face. We’re looking forward to sampling many new beers from the participating breweries.”

VIP guests will enjoy early access to the festival at noon and complimentary foods paired with specialty beers. There are a limited number of VIP tickets so that guests don’t feel the squeeze in the tent for the first hour.

Then, at 1 p.m., the festival will open to all ticket holders. Complimentary food will be available in the tent while it lasts. Food will also be available for purchase from Bay Area Gourmet Food Trucks.

All guests will receive a commemorative beer glass and enjoy unlimited samples of new, rare, and classic beers. Attendees can expect mouth-puckering sour beers, hops bombs, barrel-aged brews, and a wide range of other beers that make Northern California one of the best beer producing regions in the world.
