There's a new app for beer enthusiasts that gives you a great excuse to explore new breweries and taprooms this holiday season.
PintPass is a FREE app that deposits real money onto a digital debit card within the app after you answer a few short questions about your order and craft beer preferences. It’s also accepted at over 6,400 breweries across all 50 states, so you can explore the craft beer scene wherever you are.
After downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play Store, simply create an account by clicking ‘Sign Up’ on the app’s homepage. Turn on notifications for PintPass in your phone’s settings so you can check in to breweries and taprooms nearby.
Once you open the app at the brewery or taproom you’ve decided to visit, you’ll be prompted to answer a few short questions. Immediately after answering, you’ll see that real money has been deposited onto the digital debit card within the app. Simply have your server or bartender enter the card’s 16-digit code into their system just as they would with any other debit card to settle your tab. It’s that easy.
PintPass is quickly growing and it’s connecting all craft beer lovers and local brewery owners creating a more vibrant beer culture.
The feedback that PintPass receives and pays users for is shared with industry companies to help improve the craft beer experience for both the consumer and the supplier — for FREE. It’s a win-win.
Their Text-A-Beer feature is also pretty fun. Say it’s your friend’s birthday and you want to buy them a round. Just tap the ‘Text-A-Beer’ tab and select the exact amount you want to send to your friend. Whether they’re sitting next to you or are across the country, they can use the money to settle their tab. Gift-giving made easy.
If you download the app and enjoy it as much as we do, don’t forget to check out their new shop that just hit their website. It’s loaded with tees and phone cases that you can purchase for yourself or gift to the fellow craft beer fans in your life.
Download PintPass for yourself, and tell us what you think about your experience. It’s about time you got rewarded for doing what you love most.
