What the brewers say

“American IPA.”

What our panel thought

Aroma: “Big aroma compared to recent ones. Straight up green onions with a side of garlic and fresh grass clippings. Lemon and peppercorn. Super resin bomb. Some pithy notes and juicy light fruit.”

Flavor: “Just onions. Maybe a bit of floral is in the background. Moderate sweetness and moderate high bitterness. Thin mouthfeel and very dry finish. Grassy, light fruit hops with nice fruity character. Chewy, balanced with great lingering complexity. Soft mineral character and bitterness on finish.

Overall: “There’s a well brewed base beer underneath that’s fairly bitter, kind of pushing the limits, but well brewed overall. Nose is a little high on the spice/onion character instead of the light fruit, but otherwise a nice beer. Great finish, crisp and highlighting the hops complexity.”
