What the brewers say

“Rice lager fermented with sake yeast and dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin.”

What our panel thought

“On the nose, sweaty peach, melon, guava, canned fruit cocktail (in a good way). Very low water-cracker malt. White pepper hop character. Pineapple and banana flavor dominates up front. Ends with a sake note mixed with pineapple and a hint of warming alcohol. Well-balanced finish.”

What our editors thought

“Bright melon and tropical notes in the nose, IPA-like in their brightness. Kölsch-like in the flavor, with brisk carb, playful tropical fruit, and a crisp malt. Energetic and lighthearted.”
