What the brewers say

“Built for ultimate crushability and loaded with Strata, Citra, and Mosaic hops, Birdie to Bogey California Pils is the perfect companion for your next round of bangin’ chains! Flavors of zesty lemony-lime citrus, red berries, and subtle pine makes this one an absolute delight to drink.”

What our panel thought

“Light, delicate, refreshing throughout. Hop flavor has notes of white grape, pear, fresh-cut grass. Dank and citrus aromatics jump out of the glass with nothing but hops—the clean profile allows those hops to simply shine. Very light body in the underlying beer, with high carbonation that yields a crisp, clean finish. Flavor is in unison with the nose—dank, old-school hop flavor, with restrained bitterness—all painting on a perfectly executed lager canvas. Pleasantly bitter, but balanced. An all-day beer with pleasant hop complexity added for interest, it screams repeat pints.”

What our editors thought

“Light sweaty locker room nose, with glimpses of green citrus and tropical notes. The sip is light, with a balanced light tropical peppery bitterness, and a zesty joie de vivre.”
