What our panel thought
Aroma: “Nice fresh hops aroma. Pine, grapefruit, orange, and citrus notes with hints of caramel. Some nice malt sweetness in the back. Very juicy!”
Flavor: “The biscuit and toast malt sweetness hit in the front. Grapefruit, orange, and some lemon citrus notes from the hops pick up and carry through. The bitterness is unobtrusive but completely adequate and carries through the finish and is appropriate with the malt and hops sweetness. Well balanced.”
Overall: “Another wonderful IPA in the orange-pine camp (Amarillo hops?). Delicious and inviting, this one can stand on its own or pair nicely with a good, old-fashioned burger and fries.”
