What the brewers say

Pilsner malt and Saaz hops create a clean, crisp, and refreshing lager, while traditional flaked maize adds just a touch of sweetness.

What our panel thought

Clean aroma of sweet, doughy malt, with notes of sweetcorn, dinner rolls, and hint of damp earth. Light, sweet flavor, balanced by a light touch of earthy hop-bitterness. Leans sweet but dries out a bit. Sweet bread notes linger. Clean crowd-pleaser lacking depth.

What our editors thought

A bit of Kings Hawaiian roll bready sweetness on the nose. The flavor gives up crisp definition for a touch of sweetness amplified by corn and mildly citrusy hops. Entertaining, but a bit too dense for repeat hot weather drinking.
