Twin Barns Brewing Company Longridge Lager

What the brewers say

Traditional Czech-style pilsner brewed with floor-malted pilsner malt and Czech Saaz hops. Earthy, spicy, and crisp.

What our panel thought

Light, corn-like malt sweetness in the nose with twiggy, earthy-spicy Noble hops. Light, clean sweetness with evident bitterness and nice spicy-herbal hop flavor—rosemary, pine. A bit thin; malt depth is a faint whisper. Firm bitterness leads to a crisp, dry finish. Hops linger on the palate.

What our editors thought

Straightforward light herbal nose brings a touch of honey sweetness as it warms. In the sip, zesty herbal hops with a tea-like tannin along with a brisk carbonation give it a nervous, bubbly energy.
