Breakside Brewery Wanderlust IPA

What the brewers say

“West Coast IPA with Mosaic, Simcoe, Cascade, and Summit.”

What our panel thought

“Aroma and flavor echo a tangerine-citrus note, with hints of fruity apricot lingering into a clean and bitter finish. Slight grassy and dank notes add dimension. The lingering finish showcases the excellent choices and techniques of the brewer.”

What our editors thought

“Bright citrus notes layer over faint grassy-herbal ones in the nose, for a soft approach. The flavor brings more pungent dank bitterness—commanding and gregarious with a gorgeous cohesion. The aroma and flavor offer a one-two punch.”

Breakside Brewery Wanderjack IPA

“Pine resin, green onion, ramps, pineapple in the aroma with lemongrass and orange supporting. A hint of bready malt in the background. The flavor retains a bit of onion, but the pineapple comes through even stronger. Finishes dry, clean, and bitter with a moderate dank retronasal character and a moderate, fading sweetness.”

Breakside Brewery Stay West IPA

Bright orange and pineapple aroma—tangerine, mandarin—sweet, clean citrus punch. Medium-high bitterness with sweet, malty backbone—balanced in flavor, rolling right into crisp and dry. Enticing, accomplished, and reassuringly bitter.

American Solera Chase Exotic

Orange-vanilla Creamsicle aroma; green- grassy hop pellets, garlic/diesel undertones. Slight bready sweetness dominated by orange-peel-hop flavors. Very smooth drinkability. Finish is quite dry. Hop contour whacks it out of the ‘drink several’ category.
