Creature Comforts Brewing Co. Los Angeles Begin to Arrive

What the brewers say

“Collab with Everywhere features Superdelic, Riwaka, 586.”

What our panel thought

“Citrus and tropical-fruit notes in the aroma. Some nice background malt aroma. Light sweetness across the palate with the malt shimmering behind the bright tropical, citrus hop flavors. Tight finish with a slight punch of bitterness.”

What our editors thought

“Papaya and pomegranate aroma with a touch of herbal freshness. Sweeter papaya in the sip is balanced by an equally strong herbal punch that quickly fades for an assertive drinkability.”

Creature Comforts Los Angeles Endless Solo

“Unassuming nose of floral and tropical-fruit hop aroma opens up on the first taste. Old-school hops with a slightly modern twist: Citrus and resin come through up front with layers of tobacco, green tea, lime zest. Well-balanced, pleasant bitterness supports the crisp lager character. Finishes slightly sweet with a hint of honey.”

Creature Comforts Brewing Co. Neon Cylinders: Sun Glow

“Dark yellow in color with a frothy white head that lasts a while. An interesting, layered medley of fruit greets the nose—honey, tangerine, mimosa-like. Tangerine juice leads the taste, with some soft woody notes. Very pleasant and addictive with an assertive sourness that overpowers any sweetness and drives the fruit flavors to the background. These come out to play in the finish, with the apricot especially lingering on the tongue. The aroma is definitely the highlight of this one.”

Creature Comforts Brewing Co. Table Beer

“Fruity notes in the aroma—citrus and perfumy in nature—with a peppery spice. Honey-like malt character in the flavor with a bit of bread dough. Easy to drink and enjoy. A slight hint of citrus in the middle with a pleasant bitterness to back it up. The carbonation plays well with the medium-dry finish, leaving you wanting another sip.”
