What the brewers say

“Featuring layers of pine, floral, ripe-citrus tropical aromas, notes of dark caramel, dry woodsy hop notes.”

What our panel thought

“IPA is all about hops, but the malt works here. Subdued toasty, bready notes don’t distract or feint toward caramel but provide a good canvas for the light piney and citrus hops. The finish could be crisper, but it’s quite drinkable if not fully traditional.”

What our editors thought

“Classic deep golden color and minimal aroma. Hefty but smooth in the sip, with a thoroughly integrated bitterness that feels more contemporary than it looks.”
