“Forest pine and resin notes dominate the aroma at the expense of tropical/fruit hop character. Flavor falls in line but adds some intense sweetness while a surprising bitterness adds a layer. More barleywine character than hazy IPA.”

“Quirky—chalky orange-pineapple notes in the nose give way to purple cotton candy, pineapple smoothie, and juicy orange in the sip. The alcohol heat is palpable with a slightly medicinal edge, yet the bitterness doesn’t quite rise to the occasion.”

New Belgium Dominga Grapefruit

New Belgium wood cellar blender Lauren Limbach was gifted a new foeder that she aptly named Dominga—a play on the Spanish word for Sunday.
