What the brewers say

Italian-style pilsner with American-grown Super Saazer and Crystal with a touch of Hallertau Blanc.

What our panel thought

Pretty pale gold with a shower of bubbles. Fantastic, punchy nose that is hop-dominant but has enough grainy pilsner malt to balance. Heavy dose of earthy, floral hops just bursting with flavor. Some malt holds it together, and it finishes dry with a pleasant lingering finish. Just enough bitterness on the tongue for you to want to come back and have another sip.

What our editors thought

A floral note—bordering on light stone fruit with a touch of vanilla—rings with a quirky candy-like sweetness. The flavor steers back toward pilsner with a vibrant and prickly carbonation, a subtle minerality, and a bright grassy bitterness amplified by the water profile. Clever and boundary-pushing but captivating, respecting the pilsner tradition while offering a contemporary view of what’s possible.
