Motosonora Brewing Victory or Death IPA
What the brewers say
“Tweaked with some dryness for the Arizona heat.”
What our panel thought
“Herbal, grassy, and leafy green hop notes, with a bit of tarragon. Light and pleasant with no aggressive sulfur notes, and the malt is pleasantly supportive without trying to intrude. Bitterness is firm but doesn’t overpower the dry fruity aftertaste. Very clean—an outstanding IPA for the not-yet-jaded hophead.”
What our editors thought
“Quickly dissipating head opens up with a generic fruitiness that spans berry, citrus, and melon backed with a light herbal note. A burst of herbal bitterness in the sip falls fast for a get in, get out quick drinkability.”
