What the brewers say

“A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass, and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher.”

What our panel thought

Aroma: “Herbal and perfumey, with strong, floral coriander and subtle lemongrass and citrus notes backed up by malt sweetness. A really unusual, kind of heavy aroma, but super complex. There’s some funky lemon and a touch of smokiness.”

Flavor: “Spicy, herbal, peppery-like flavors up front with moderate malt sweetness balanced by bitterness that lingers on the palate. Very light, smoky phenolics and mild tartness. Perfect body. Beer finishes dry after a nice, velvety front.”

Overall: “Overall, not a bad beer. Interesting, enjoyable, crisp, and refreshing. A unique take on a wit, with a robust profile of spices adding to the complexity. Nice hops and subtle herbal notes.”
