What the brewers say

“We doubled the massive amount of hops ... resulting in a mind-blowing Citra hop experience.”

What our panel thought

“Lavish, layered hop aroma—orange, Meyer lemon, touches of guava. Flavor isn’t bitter, but there are tinges of alcohol and hop burn. A dank note goes well with the lemon-lemongrass finish. A touch Sprite-y and sweet; could be softer and easier to approach.”

What our editors thought

“Pineapple-mango nose with a petrichor-fresh note. The sip unfolds silky pineapple-mango sweetness, but a rather firm bitterness slides along to cut and balance.”

Parish Brewing Company SIPS Sauvignon Blanc Passion Fruit

“Sweet pineapple and passion fruit in the nose, followed by flavors of mango, passion fruit, guava. Sweet, but not cloying, with a consistent dark berry flavor throughout. The sauvignon blanc is just enough to add a fun complexity.”

Omission Bright Eyed IPA

“Light Earl Grey tea and wort aroma. The hop aroma is a bit muted, but the flavor delivers the hops and has a medium level of supporting bitterness. Clean and refreshing with medium-high carbonation and a semidry finish.”

Ghost Hawk Brewing Company Apex Predator IPA

“Understated aroma for the style. The classic juicy hops (tropical fruit, orange) don’t really kick in until the initial taste. A touch of malt sweetness helps balance a significant grapefruit and guava hop flavor. Good drinkability. Full, creamy mouthfeel and good carb. Lightly bitter finish pairs nicely with the fruit notes.”
