What the brewers say

“West Coast double India pale ale.”

What our panel thought

“Straightforward and, dare one say, simple. Bright hop flavor, fresh cones. Floral, dew on a rose, with touch of wood. Underlying cannabis note. Sweet alcohol in the mouth, without being hot. Clean malt flavor, lingering spicy notes. Never in-your-face bitter, but persistent.”

What our editors thought

“Gentle and subtle tropical tones in the aroma—guava, pineapple. The flavor finds an incredibly smooth and generally tropical liminal space, with classically integrated bitterness and glimpses of classic hop bitterness.”
