Templin Family Brewing Granary KellerBier
What the brewers say
“Unfiltered German-style pilsner.”
What our panel thought
“Aromas of bread dough rising in a warm square of sun; graham cracker intermingles with white-pepper spicy hops. Lots of crackery malt throughout, with just a slight bitterness peeping out at the end. Hops are quite mild at first, building over time. The texture is very light and crisp, like a delicate water cracker. Highly attenuated, balancing the malt and Noble hops almost perfectly. Bitterness is a bit coating at the end. A perfect beer to enjoy this summer after mowing the lawn or simply relaxing. The clean finish makes you come back for more.”
What our editors thought
“Incredibly elegant Noble-floral notes in the aroma, with notes of fresh-baked bread and a generally bright demeanor that suggests it’s all smiles in the most genuine of ways. Energetic body is light and nimble with a tight, herbal-bitter throughline and hints of bright citrus and bready malt above and below. Finishes crisply and quickly.”
