What the brewers say

"Strata and HBC 692 hops make this hazy IPA burst with tropical fruit and dank pine."

What our panel thought

"Aroma: peach, passion fruit, candied orange, light strawberry, pine. These give way to more tart lime, grapefruit pith, pineapple on the palate, with underripe raspberry on the tail end. Lingering tartness. Finishes fairly dry, a bit bitter, not harsh or astringent."

What our editors thought

"Dank weed notes intertwine with soft berry, stone fruit, and passion fruit. The sip brings the soft fruit notes forward. Wants a touch more bitterness in the finish."

Omission Bright Eyed IPA

“Light Earl Grey tea and wort aroma. The hop aroma is a bit muted, but the flavor delivers the hops and has a medium level of supporting bitterness. Clean and refreshing with medium-high carbonation and a semidry finish.”

MadTree Brewing Brunch So Hard

Pretty pink color. Generic red fruit up front in the aroma. It comes across a bit like raspberry. Lemon comes through a bit more in the flavor. There’s slight sour in the finish as well from the hibiscus. Medium light body and dry finish.

Transient Artisanal Ales Zero Discipline

__Aroma:__ “Pleasant fruit character, with notes of a mango, pineapple, peach, and strawberry with a touch of chalky candy sweetness similar to Smarties. Some subtle sweet bready malt notes.” __Flavor:__ “Big fruit cocktail: tangerine, lemon, cherry, banana, peach, pineapple, mango. It’s hard to separate the hops from the fermentation esters. Some spicy black pepper notes. A light touch of alcohol warming toward the end of the sip. Smooth bitterness. Medium sweetness.” __Overall:__ “I really like the fermentation character along with the wild hops flavor. The peppery notes are especially nice. Very little bitterness and moderate fruity juice of orange, mango, and peach. Heavy body with light carbonation and light alcohol warming in the end.”
