225,000: Barrels. The capacity of Victory Brewing’s recently opened second brewery in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania. Slated for the new 140,000-square-foot building is a new brewpub, beer garden, and entertaining and education space.
12.7: Percent increase in overall case growth of canned craft beer in 2013. A press release by SweetWater Brewery out of Atlanta, Georgia, reveals this percentage, as well as a 3.5 percent increase in the can segment of craft beer last year.
5,014: The number of jobs that are created by Colorado’s craft beer industry. In collaboration with the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, the Colorado Brewers Guild released an economic impact study this month, which revealed an $826 million impact.
