What it is: Featuring forty beers on tap and several more in bottles, CRAFT is an outdoor beer bar in the Khlong Toei Nuea district of Bangkok, Thailand. Several dining options are available from CRAFT’s adjacent sibling restaurants, as are wine, cocktails, and cigars.

Why it’s great: CRAFT started as a pop-up bar in the parking lot of the restaurants that still serve food to CRAFT’s patrons (the roasted-chicken tacos are amazing). Gradually, artificial grass, awnings, and umbrellas were added to create a year-round craft-beer oasis in macro-dominated Bangkok. A combination of low and high tables built from wire spools, classic rock, and friendly staff creates a casual vibe. Tourists and locals alike gather at CRAFT to enjoy Thailand craft beers (which, for legal reasons, are typically contract-brewed in Cambodia or Australia and imported) as well as imports (mostly from America). Chon gaew!
