What the brewers say

“Sour ale with lime zest, strawberry, and pineapple puree, and juniper.”

What our panel thought

“Subtle stone fruit, tropical citrus, pineapple, and hints of pine make for a busy but interesting aroma. Nectar-like apricot flavors coupled with pineapple-forward acidity and lightly floral spiciness make for an equally busy flavor profile. Strawberry fruit leather. A bit sweet without sourness to balance on the finish. Nice cohesion of elements.”

What our editors thought

Caramel-corn nose smells like a county fair—a sweet, fruity, caramelly mishmash. Fruit leather with a lilting phenolic throughout. The sip only furthers the confusion.”
