What the brewers say

“Contemporary American pilsner with rotating hop bill—finished with AU Ella.”

What our panel thought

“Mild hop notes in the nose, but the flavor is expressive with notes of white grape, citrus, pine, and earth. A little heavy-handed on balance, but significant bitterness on the finish keeps it dry and structured. Excellent hop quality.”

What our editors thought

“Subtle fruity nose with peach skin and a fresh, light, green-herbal note. The sip balances very light and crisp tropical fruit notes with a stronger peppery hop note that keeps it from feeling indulgent or excessive.”

Highland Park Brewery DDH Crosbo Pils

“Fruity notes of strawberry and candied peach blend with subtle piney and floral aromatics for a compelling, complex nose. Fruity impression of sweetness in the initial sip is balanced by a floral and soapy bitter counterpoint. Culminates in a clean, crisp, lightly bitter finish.”

Templin Family Brewing Granary KellerBier

“Aromas of bread dough rising in a warm square of sun; graham cracker intermingles with white-pepper spicy hops. Lots of crackery malt throughout, with just a slight bitterness peeping out at the end. Hops are quite mild at first, building over time. The texture is very light and crisp, like a delicate water cracker. Highly attenuated, balancing the malt and Noble hops almost perfectly. Bitterness is a bit coating at the end. A perfect beer to enjoy this summer after mowing the lawn or simply relaxing. The clean finish makes you come back for more.”

Cloudburst Brewing A Little Much

“Dank orange-blossom hops are cut with a hint of onion-garlic in the aroma. More of the same in the flavor. Gentle alcoholic warmth noticeable in the retronasal. Really nice balance throughout with a clean finish.”
