What the brewers say

“A blend of different barrel types and vintages.”

What our panel thought

“Aromas of bourbon with molasses, sweet caramel, oak, heavy brown sugar. Flavor is sweet, warming. Layers of bourbon, vanilla, leather intertwine. Some molasses, in both viscosity and flavor. A wonderful sipper.”

What our editors thought

“Nutella and Toblerone on the nose, hazelnut with a crispy bready wafer note and boozy nutty bass tones. Lighter in the sip than the nose suggests, only semisweet with some bitter chocolate, more toasted hazelnut, and a bourbon oak swagger. Fit and limber like a retiree yogi.”

Bootstrap Brewing Sparkalicious Sunrise

“Vibrant cherry-orange Creamsicle aromas. Fresh fruit flows throughout the mouth, doesn’t feel artificial. The jammy impression lasts into the finish. Not overly sweet but gives the impression of sweetness. The cherry and orange notes sing in harmony.”

Untitled Art NA Watermelon Gose

“Watermelon and rind in the aroma with drops of lime and agave. Some funky fermentation character. A sweet full body smacks the palate with watermelon pulp. Salty toward the back. Aftertaste of sweet fruit punch.”

Half Acre Beer Co Tome

“Balanced aromatics of bright fruit and dank pine with elements of orange, strawberry, peach, lemon. Nice soft malt body. Well-balanced and finishes just sweet enough to support the distinct bitterness, and just mouth-coating enough to prevent the dryness from stripping away the nuance.”
