Anchorage Time Waits for No One

Aroma: “Dark chocolate dominates. Very, very dark chocolate and roast with chile pepper. There’s also a lot of spicy bourbon but not in a harsh or overpowering way.” Flavor: “Super-intense flavor across the board. Dark rich chocolate and dark cherry. Boozy. Over the top sweet, but the bitterness and the booze attempt to balance it. Still sweet but also bitter.” Overall: “There’s an intense roasted-malt richness throughout, to the point it becomes spicy, all backed with a warming boozy barrel character. The complexity of the malt as it warms is fantastic, definitely something to savor slowly.”
