Alesong Brewing Señor Rhino

What the brewers say

"Oozes with rich cocoa and spicy cinnamon aromas, with background notes of sweet vanilla."

What our panel thought

"Earthy cinnamon, sweet lime, and brown-sugar aroma; cocoa and vanilla-oak notes bloom with warmth. Roast and chocolate flavors serve as backbone to the spices. Tannic oak emerges in the finish, with pepper heat."

What our editors thought

"Spicy, sweet nose with an agave twist. Engaging. The sip is thoroughly integrated cinnamon, chocolate, and vanilla. Sweetness kept in check by tightly structured tequila notes."

WeldWerks Brewing Co. Double Barrel 1910 Medianoche

“Intense barrel flavors—vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, with decadent fudge and upfront alcoholic sweetness. Compelling hints of almond, cherry. Barrel character really shines.”

Springdale Beer Co. Melange De Mures

Amber with ruby highlight. Hazy. Good head. Very light seedy raspberry/blackberry and carbonic note in the aroma and a bit of a chalky/mineral character. Berry represented well in the flavor. Finish is dry and puckering. Overall fruity and drinkable, but not that exciting.
