A blend of 1- and 2-year bourbon barrels conditioned on Madagascar vanilla.

What our panel thought

Aroma is toasted marshmallows dipped in bourbon-spiked hot chocolate with perhaps a touch of oatmeal-raisin cookies. Taste is essentially identical. The finish is creamy and smooth. This beer hits the marshmallow notes in a way that most people only hope to. Barrel is present, adding notes of toasted coconut, cinnamon, and clove.

What our editors thought

An intense vanilla nose offers glimpses of sweet chocolate and oaky barrel, but the sweet vanilla sip tells you everything you need to know about the beer. It’s dessert in its purest form, richly satisfying.
