Omnipollo Bianca Peanut Butter Gose

What the brewers say

“Peanut butter jelly lassi gose ale brewed with peanut butter, lactose sugar, and strawberry-raspberry jam.”

What our panel thought

“Bright rose-red color. Strong raspberry with light strawberry on the nose; raspberry seed. Light fruity acidity. Medium body with a brightness transitions into a somewhat harsh peanut flavor. Lingering roast, astringent peanut skin, hint of berry seed.”

What our editors thought

“Brilliant color. Curiously earthy nose with hints of fruit denies abject pleasure. Sip misses expected creamy notes, instead pushing defined berry. For a beer that purports to be hedonistic, it’s remarkably restrained.”

Parish Brewing Co. Greetings From Holly Beach

“Murk and haze look more at home in the world of IPAs. Aroma is unique, with earthy, tropical notes competing for domination. Earthy coconut meat and milk flavors integrate well with tropical nectar-like sweetness, evoking a tropical cocktail.”

New Realm Brewing Co. Tart's Content

“Grandma’s pie crust meets her holiday potpourri...but it works. Cinnamon-spice punch followed by citrus and berry notes dominate aroma and deliver in flavor. Cinnamon integrates well and complements the citric acidity of the beer and orange peel; cranberry tartness tips things just over the edge.”

Dutchess Ales GB Pale Ale

Earthy, herbal, grassy hop aroma with mild fruit and light toasty malt. In the flavor, nice balance between assertive hop bitterness, earthy-piney hop flavor, and toasty-bread malt. Super drinkable. Lasting bitterness. Could enjoy several. This hits the numbers.
