What the brewers say

"Vermont ale yeast and copious amounts of late-addition hops give this beer huge tropical-juice notes of pineapple and guava."

What our panel thought

"Aroma is all candied fruit—orange, peach, passion fruit, mango, subtle ripe strawberry. More of that in flavor, with decent bitter punch to cut the sweetness, like white sugar dusted atop fresh fruit. Malt and hops get muddled in the alcoholic warmth. Rough around the edges."

What our editors thought

"Bold grape notes out of nowhere. The sip continues the light-grape fruitiness, with a muddled bitter/malty through-line. A guess that doesn’t find an answer."
